How to excel in H2 Chemistry

This is a hard truth that must be accepted by everyone. You REALLY need to spend time sitting by yourself and consolidating your learning by using principles of H2 chemistry. You also need to practice solving questions within the specified examination time (about 1.5 min per mark) more than just fine-tuning the mastery of the concepts. Most students are not acquainted with what they do not know. During time trial settings, the only way to know what you don't know is to face up to exam questions!

Aim to Understand Every Single Topic Fully and Deeply

What is so complicated about Chemistry is that each subject is linked to each other, and getting lost in one topic would have a serious impact on your understanding of the other topics. This also ensures that any subject can be easily checked in a single question with others. You must therefore be disciplined: complete the school lessons and answer questions of the Ten-Year Series (TYS) as soon as the lectures are given at school, so you can advance to the other topics when they are taught.

Sadly, for your H2 Chemistry concepts, school tutorials and TYS would only create the base. If you want to imitate what comes out during your school lecture tests and exams, you will need tools of higher difficulty level.

Be Bold and Ask for Help

Please seek help during the tutorial class if you are unsure of a definition! When you ask questions in class, please ignore what your friends may say (or any other forms of potential embarrassment) because eventually you will benefit most from it.

When you accumulate all your suspicions, even for a week, it will be very exhausting and stressful. Recall what I said about the interconnectedness of topics? Because what will eventually happen if you develop your concerns is that as the questions are merged, you will not be able to complete the questions in Paper.

Aid doesn't always have to come from your family. You may want to seek external support if you know that your teachers are unable to overcome the questions you have. Never Be Satisfied with Your Performance within Your Own School

Can be heartlessly steep the A-Level Bell Curve! Hence, possessing the mindset of constantly seeking change in your performance is beneficial. Even if in your tests / exams you were to get an' A, ' try to get a higher A! Or you can even submit exam papers from other schools to test your skills.

Never indulge in your success because ALWAYS will wait to kill you. What's also amazing about Chemistry is that they can always attach different topics in the most unexpected way imaginable ... These are questions that will really test your abilities.
